Salmon orange sauce. At this occasion, we are going to make this grilled fish and then, we will prepare an orange sauce as accompaniment. This sour sauce contrasts well with the “fat” part of salmon. For make this salmon orange sauce you need the follow ingredients.


INGREDIENTS for salmon orange sauce for 4 people:


  • 4 loins of salmon
  • 5 juicing oranges
  • 1 onion
  • 200ml/ 7 fl oz. sour cream
  • Salt and Pepper
  • Oil




1.- At first, we are going to seal the salmon. In a large pan over medium heat, put the loins of salmon with it skin looking down. Let to cook for about 3 minutes and turn around them. Cook this side only a minute and a half. In this way, salmon is sealed outside and raw inside. Reserve them on a dish.

2.- In the same pan, put a little of oil over medium heat and add the onion previously peeled and chopped. Let to cook it for about 10 minutes while stirring frequently with a spoon.

3.- When onion is softed, add the sour cream. Stirring to mix all ingredients and then, add the juice of oranges (400 ml/ 13.5 fl oz. aproximately). Mix all again and let to cook for about 15 minutes over low heat.

4.- Now, add the loins of salmon and cook in this sauce for about 5 minutes more. This time is sufficient for the loins cook inside and its mix with the flavours of the sauce.


With this few step we have obtained a delicious salmon orange sauce. A different form to eat this fish and a very healthy recipe. Try to make it in your home!
