Rice salad. This recipe is perfect for the heat days. Furthermore, you can add a lot of ingredients to your choice. You will get a delicious rice salad in few steps. Let´s to make it!
INGREDIENTS for 4 people:
- 400g/ 14 oz. rice
- 100g/ 3.5 oz. crab sticks
- 50g/ 1.5 oz. green peas
- 1/2 red pepper
- 1 carrot
- 100g/ 3.5 oz. pitted green olives
- Olive oil
RICE SALAD RECIPE:
1.- In a casserole over high heat, put some water (double amount of water than rice) and add a pinch of salt. When the water boiled, put the rice and let to cook over medium heat for about 20 minutes.
2.- While the rice is cooking, in other casserole, put some water and a pinch of salt. Add the green peas and let to cook them over medium heat for about 10 minutes.
3.- After that time drain the green peas and the rice from the water and then, let to cool them.
4.– In a salad bowl, add this two ingredients along with chopped red pepper, the green olives cut in half pieces, the crab stick cut into slices and chopped carrot.
5.- Mix all ingredients and finally, add a little of olive oil. This serve as a dress and it will give the final touch.
For preparing this rice salad recipe, you can add other ingredients to your choice as some jam, corn, chopped tomato… Any ingredient could do with it! Try it to make this recipe at your home!
