No yeast pizza

No yeast pizza. A tasty recipe. It’s posible to make a no yeast pizza? Yes, it is. Besides, it can make it without giving up its thickness or taste. (The yeast makes the dough grow and adds flavor and aroma) To make this pizza, only change a ingredient, water. Replace water and yeast for beer. This pizza has the advantage of being very quick to make. Don´t worry about the alcohol of beer because it is evaporated in the oven. Even children can eat this pizza. Let’s see their ingredients.


INGREDIENTS for 2 people: 

  • 8oz plain flour
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4.5 fl oz. blond beer


1.- Mix all ingredients. At the end, add the beer piecemeal. The idea is to get a dough that sticks a little to the hands and the countertop.

2.- When all ingredients are mixed and the dough is obtained (this dough sticks a little to the hands and the countertop), knead about 10 minutes until obtaining a thin and elastic dough, which no longer sticks (without adding flour).

3.- Then, put the dough into a bowl, and cover it. Let stand 20 minutes.

4.- After this time, extract and shape the dough. (You can make it in a pizza mold, with a roller, with your hands or you can make it rectangular or square, of greater or lesser thickness). Personally, I like make it thin, about half finger thickness.

5.- Put the ingredients on top of the dough (You choose the ingredients). For example, a base of tomato sauce, oregano, mozzarella cheese and a little diced chicken.

6.- Finally, bake. Put the pizza in the center of the oven, at 200ºC/392ºF. Bake about 15 or 20 minutes. Until pizza is browned.

This no yeast pizza doesn’t have the same flavour that conventional pizza but it’s the best solution if you run out of yeast or without time to make it!
