Milk sponge cake recipe

A delicious homemade milk sponge cake . This recipe, is very easy to make and its ideal for any occasion (for a birthday or for a meeting). You can eat it at breakfast or dessert, with coffee or mixed with other ingredients. Let´s see how to make this elaboration in a few steps.

MILK SPONGE CAKE

INGREDIENTS for a cake:

  • 3 eggs
  • 9 oz flour
  • 3.5 oz sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 4 fl oz milk
  • 3.5 fl oz sunflower oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

MILK SPONGE CAKE RECIPE:

1.- At first, in a bowl, beat the eggs with half of the sugar for about some minutes.

2.- After that, put the rest of sugar, and furthermore milk, oil, the cinnamon and vanilla. It´s advisable milk is warm. In this way, cake is more fluffed. Mix all ingredients well.

3.- Then, in a strainer, put the flour and the baking powder and sieve over the mixture.

4.- Spread with butter a mold and sprinkle it with flour. Then, pour the mixture into the mold.

5.- Afterward, introduce it in the middle of the oven previously heated over 350ºF, for about 40 minutes. You can check if the cake is cooked if you prick it with a knife and then the knife comes out clean.

Finally let cool the milk sponge cake before to eat it.
