Kentucky fried chicken. A very tasty recipe. It is similar to the recipe for the fast food restaurant, but in this ocasion, it is made at home. This chicken is very easy to make and the whole family will love it. Let’s to see how to make kentucky fried chicken.
INGREDIENTS for 4 people:
- 8 chicken thighs
- 500ml/16.5 fl.oz milk
- 300g/ 10.5 oz. flour
- 1 tbsp of each spices: oregano, paprika, curry, onion powder, garlic powder…
- +1/2 tsp of the previous spices plus 100g/3.5 oz. flour
- Salt and pepper
KENTUCKY FRIED CHICKEN RECIPE:
1.- In a bowl put the flour (keeping 100g/ 3.5 oz. for later) and add a tbsp of each of the spices. Put a pinch of salt too. The flavour of these spices will not be noticed so much when you eat the chicken. Add for about 400ml/13.5 fl.oz of milk. The amount of milk deppends of the type of flour used. Mix all ingredients until get an uniform mass.
2.- Seasoning the chicken thighs and put them into the mass coating them with it. Cover the bowl and let rest into the fridge for about an hour. Better, if you leave them inside more time.
3.- Meantime, in a dish put the rest of flour and add 1/2 tsp of the same spices that you have utilised previously. Stir to mix the spices with the flour.
4.- Take out the chicken thighs from the fridge, and without remove to them the excess of mass, coat them with the mix of flour and spices. Then, fry the chicken thighs in plenty of oil over medium heat for about 10-12 minutes, until browned.
