CRISPY ONION RINGS recipe
Crispy onion rings are one of the most loved fast food to children and is often served in fast food establishments. Here we will learn to make them at home. They will always be better than any fast food place. Here, the recipe of te crispy onion rings
INGREDIENTS for crispy onion rings for 4 people
- 2 medium onions
- 9 oz 250g flour
- about 300ml beer
- a teaspoon of paprika
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
RECIPE FOR CRISPY ONION RINGS :
1.- Peel the onion and remove the first layer is a little chewy . Cut it into slices, width , and about a finger of thick ,
2.- With fingers, separate the different layers of the onion. So , we will get the onion rings
3.- Put the rings in cold water for about 30 minutes. Discard those parts which have not retained its ring shape or are too small to make onion rings with them (In the kitchen, never throw anything. These remains serve to another meal) .
4.- In a large bowl mix the flour, a tablespoon of baking powder, cold beer or other carbonated beverage, such as soda or siphon, a teaspoon of salt, paprika and mix well with a fork until a kind of cream, smooth. It has to be a certain thickness but rather fluid.
5.- Drain the onion rings water. Put them a pinch of salt and get into the batter, making sure they are well soaked. Take one onion ring, remove the excess dough and cover to breadcrumbs. Book on a plate and keep making all onion ring.
6.- Fry the onion rings over high heat in plenty of oil . After about 30 seconds, we remove them from oil, letting them on a rack.
