COOKED CAULEFLOWER WITH POTATOES
INGREDIENTS for 4 people:
- 1 big cauliflower
- 2 potatoes
- 4 garlic cloves
- Fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper
COOKED CAULIFLOWER WITH POTATOES RECIPE:
1.- In a large casserole over medium heat, put the cauliflower previously cut in small branches. Then, add a half glass of water and cover the casselore. Cook for about 20 minutes adding more water if you see it evaporates. In this way, cauliflower does not stick at the bottom of the caserole. After that time, retire it from the heat.
2.- In another casserole with plenty of water over medium heat, put the potatoes and a handfull of salt. Let to cook for about 25 minutes. To ckeck the potatoes are cooked, introduce a knife in them. If it enter without difficulty, potatoes are cooked. Then retire them from the heat.
3.- Now, we are going to place the cauliflower on a dish. Add the potatoes into cubes. Season and reserve.
4.- Finally, in a pan over medium heat, put a little of oil. When it is hot, add the garlic cloves into thin slices and some choped parsley. Cook for about 1 or 2 minutes while stirring frequently. When garlic is browned, put this stir-fry over the cauliflower and potatoes.
