Chicken thighs with almond sauce. A different way to prepare this kind of meat. Chicken is a very tasty and nutrient-rich food. In this recipe we are going to combine it with a soft almond sauce, that will give to the chicken a delicious touch. To elaborate the sauce, you only need to mix the almond with another ingredients that will be mentioned below. Then, let’s make this chicken thighs with almond sauce recipe.

INGREDIENTS for 4 people

  • 8 chicken thighs
  • 2-3 bread slices cut the previous day
  • 5 oz of almonds
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 cup of white wine
  • 8 fl oz of chicken broth
  • 1 tsp of sweet paprika
  • Some threads saffron
  • 1 little handful of fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper
  • Oil

Here you have the recipe of the chicken thighs with diamond sauce:

  1. First, in a casserole cook the chicken thighs in order to save their juices.

    In a casserole put a little oil jet and cook it over high heat. When it is hot, add the chicken thighs previously seasoned. Let them cook for about 3 minutes by each of its sides, until they are browned. Then, place them on a plate.

  2. In the same casserole prepare the almond sauce.

    In the same casserole over highheat, add a little oil jet. When it is hot again, aggregate the bread slices and cook them for about 2 minutes for each side. Be careful and not let them get burned. When every slide is toasted by both its sides, take them from the casserole with a skimmer, drain the oil and put them in a beaker.

  3. Brown the almonds and the garlics.

    Afterwards, put the heat over medium heat and add the almonds. And if it is necessary, another little oil jet. Let each side of the almonds be cooked for about 1 minute. When they are toasted, put them in a beaker. Then, place the garlics previously peeled in the casserole and cook them for about 2 minutes by each side. Later, aggregate them in the same beaker.

  4. Beat all the ingredients with hand blender to make the sauce.

    After that in the beaker, add a cup of white wine, the chicken broth, a little handful of fresh parsley, the paprika and the threads saffron, and season all. Beat all the ingredients with a hand blender until you obtain an homogeneous and a bit thick mixture.

  5. In the previous casserole put the almond sauce and the chicken

    Pour the almond sauce in the casserole and heat it over low heat. Then, add the chicken thighs, dip them well into the sauce and cover the casserole. Let cook all the ingredients for about 40 minutes, stirring from time to time.

  6. Finally, finish to cook the chicken thighs with almond sauce.

    After that time, uncover the casserole. If you see that the sauce is a bit dried, put more water or chicken broth. Or if you see it is more liquid, you can let it be more in the heat. When it is cooked, remove the chicken thighs from the heat and serve them with the almond sauce.

You can accompany these chicken thighs with almond sauce with a good quantity of salad, peppers, fries, or another ingredient that you prefer. Take also some bread for dip the sauce because it will be very tasty. Enjoy it!
