CHICKEN MEATBALLS ALMOND SAUCE
Chicken meatballs almond sauce. An original recipe to make in your home. To prepare it, You only need some basic ingredients that you find in any supermarket. In this ocassion we use chicken mince to prepare the meatballs, but you can make it with beef or pork mince too. Lets to see how to make this chicken meatballs almond sauce in simple steps.
INGREDIENTS for chicken meatballs almond sauce for 4 people:
- 1kg/ 35.5 oz. chicken minced meat
- 1 slice of bread dipped in milk.
- 2 eggs
- 30g/ 1 oz. breadcrum
- 1/2 onion
- 4 garlic cloves
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder
- 400g/ 14 oz. natural almonds
- 1l/ 34 fl oz. chicken broth
- Chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper
CHICKEN MEATBALLS ALMOND SAUCE RECIPE:
1.- At first, we are going to prepare the meatballs. In a bowl, put the minced meat, the slice of bread dipped in milk, 2 of the 4 garlic cloves previously chopped, the cumin powder and a handfull of chopped parsley. Mix all ingredients until obtain a homogeneous mixture.
2.- Make small balls with the mixture, to make with it the meatballs, and coat them in flour.
3.- When the balls are made, reserve them on a dish and place it into the freezer. In this way, flour will seated on the chicken meatballs.
4.- 10 minutes later, in a pan over high heat put a plenty of oil and fry the meatballs for about a minute. Its avisable to make this step in small batches. The idea is to seal the flour from the outside of the meatball, keeping its inside part raw. Reserve them on a dish.
5.- In other large pan, put a little of the oil used in the last step over medium heat and add the rest of chopped garlic cloves. Let to cook for about 2 minutes.
6.- Then, raise the heat to high and add chopped almond. Mix all the ingredients while let to toast the almond for about 3 minutes more.
7.- Now, add other handfull of chopped parsley and the chicken broth. Let to cook all for about 2 minutes more.
8.- At this moment we are going to beat the sauce. For that, introduce it in a blender and beat until lumps dissapear. As a result, sauce has to be liquid. If you obtains a dense sauce, add a little of chicken broth and blend again.
9.- Put this sauce in a pan again over medium heat and place in it the chicken meatballs. Let to cook all for about 15 minutes more until meatballs finish to cook inside. Then, serve them on a dish.
