BREADED FRIED CHEESE SANDWICH

Breaded cheese sandwich. It is a different form to make a sandwich. In the US, it is very tipical to make this type of food, specially for people who don´t like cook. There, people make sandwich in a very simple form: they catch two slices of bread, then, they put some slices of cheese to their taste, they close it and place the bread in the grill and ready. It is very traditional to spread to the bread with butter. In this way, the bread will toast better. In this ocassion, we are going to make a breaded sandwich stuffed with ham and cheese. When you will take a bite of it, you will find the melted cheese and a a very tender bread. For making this breaded cheese sandwich you only follow this simple steps.

INGREDIENTS for breaded cheese sandwich for 2 people:

  • 4 slices of sandwich loaf
  • 8 slices of ham
  • 8 slices of emmental cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • breadcrumb
  • oil

RECIPE:

Time needed: 30 minutes.

Lets see how to make a delicious breaded cheese sandwich in few steps:

  1. Make the sandwich

    At first, prepare the sandwich as as if it were a normal sandwich. Over a slice of bread, put a slice of ham. Over it, put two slices of cheese and finally, add another slice of ham. Cover it with another slice of sandwich loaf.

  2. Coat the sandwich of beated eggs and breadcrumbs

    Now, coat each sandwich first of beaten egg and then of breadcrumbs. It is very important to coat them well with this two ingredients.

  3. Fry the breaded cheese sandwich

    Making this, place the breaded sandwich in hot oil. There must be enough oil to cover at least half of the sandwich. Let to fry it here for about 2 minutes more or less.

  4. Fry the another side of the sandwich

    After that time, turn it around and let to fry it the other side too for about 2 minutes more.

  5. Remove it from the oil and serve it

    Finally, remove it from the oil and place it over papel towel to eliminate the excess oil. And… ready to serve!
