BAKED SALMON WITH VEGETABLES AND POTATOES RECIPE
Baked salmon with vegetables. This recipe is a delicious way to prepare the fish. It is a very easy and fast. This dish is healthy and you don’t have to do any special effort to make it. The oven will take care of everything. At the end you will get this highly priced blue fish accompanied by vegetables. You can use the vegetables you want, but the following is recommended
INGRDIENTS for 4 people:
- 18 oz of salmon cut on loins
- 2 medium potatoes
- 1 onion
- 1 carrot
- A garlic clove
- 1 red pepper
- 1 green pepper
- 1/2 glass of water
- 1/2 of white wine
- salt and pepper
HOW TO MAKE THE BAKED SALMON WITH VEGETABLES
Time needed: 55 minutes.
You will love this easy and tasty dish. Follow the next steps carefully:
- Firstly, peel and cut the potatoes and the carrots into thin sheets.
Cut the onion in a very small and thin pieces. Chop the garlic clove, and cut the red and green peppers in big cubes.
- Secondly, put them all on a baking tray.
You have to extend all over the entire surface. Pour a 1/2 glass of water over it to prevent vegetables from sticking when baking. Add a pinch of salt and pepper. Then add a small squirt of cooking oil and put it in the oven previously heated to 200 degrees.
- For the final step, wait for a 30 minutes, and remove it from the oven.
The vegetables will be half-done but that is the intention. Add salt and pepper over the salmon loins and put them over the vegetables in the platter. you have to put the part of the skin upwards. By doing this, you will protect the meat of the salmon from the excessive heat of the oven. And you will prevent juices from leaking inside, too. Now, pour all with a small squirt of white wine and put it again inside the oven. Finally, wait about 20 more minutes, and you will get the vegetables well-baked and the salmon at its point!
