Baked chicken with potatoes and onion is a recipe that does not require much effort. And it is therefore easy and fast to make. BAKED CHICKEN WITH POTATOES
INGREDIENTS for 4 people:
- 1 whole chicken or 4 full thighs (hindquarters)
- 4 medium potatoes
- 4 medium onions
- olive oil
- salt and pepper
BAKED CHICKEN WITH POTATOES AND ONIONS RECIPE:
1.- At first, peel the potatoes and cut them into thin slices.. Then, put them on a baking tray.
2.- Then, peel the onions and cut them into shred. Place them on top of the potato. Salt and pepper all the vegetable.
3.- Afterward, put the chicken on top of the vegetable. Add over it a glass of water and trickle of oil. Salt and pepper the chicken and add a pinch of dry thyme to each chicken thigh (or the whole chicken, if you have chosen the whole piece.
4.- Place in the oven. At 220ºC/400ºF of temperature, for about 30 minutes, until it’s browned.
5.- Take the baking tray out from the oven and flip the chicken to cook the other side.
6.- Finally, put it back to the oven and leave other 30 minutes.
